Welcome-to-The-MIT-Enterprise-Forum-of-CambridgeIt’s no secret that a start up’s greatest asset is its employees.  With such high value placed on employees in the innovation ecosystem, it is especially important that companies build a compelling corporate culture.

If you’re wondering where to begin when creating a corporate culture for your start up, look no further.  Next week, on October 15th, the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge will host an Innovation Series event with Dharmesh Shah, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Hubspot, who in a fireside chat with Happier Chief Technology Officer Yoav Shapira, will offer insight into the key role of company culture and how it plays into the next wave of innovation.

The renowned entrepreneur will dive in to topics on what a company’s “culture code” should look like, addressing what the modern startup culture should be, how is it evolving and what it will look like in the future. As proof of his level of expertise, Shah’s resume speaks for itself – Prior to co-founding Hubspot in 2006 – which now has received more than $100 million in venture funding, employs more than 400 people, and has more than 8,500 customers in 56 countries – he founded three software companies, has built and shipped nearly a dozen commercial software products and is an angel investor in more than 30 start ups.

Next week’s event, sponsored by Foley Hoag, will offer attendees a rare opportunity to engage with true entrepreneurial experts and learn what it means to create a culture that allows your company to become more innovative, agile and faster-moving.
